UPDATE: OUR FOSTER PUPS
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED NOW
TO HELP WITH EVACUEES' PETS!
Lots of families are being evacuated and that means their pets too. Foster homes are needed! Some of these evacuees may not be able to have their pets at the hotel or temporary shelter with them. THIS A SIMPLE, WONDERFUL AND PRACTICAL WAY THAT YOU CAN HELP THESE FAMILIES DURING THIS CRISIS. Foster care will most likely be need for about a week. If you are interested in fostering any of these animals please let the Waco Humane Society know. Leave a message for them at 254-754-1454, and be sure to tell them if you can help with cats, dogs or both.

HELLO BECCA I was so happy to see you on my blog... I can now keep up with yours too. I had no idea you were adopted... Wow! I would really love to hear your story sometime.
This foster home for pets thing is such a sweet thing. I wanted to do it so badly when an animal control officer was telling us about it but we already have 3 dogs. one of which we just found recently (2 weeks ago) on the side of the road and she is 13 weeks old and still house training... Crazy it is now in our house... It is all a calm chaotic though so it is manageable. Everyone gets along great!!!

Thanks, it definitely makes it more chaotic around here have 3 dogs (instead of our usual 1, Gracie) and 3 boys, but we are glad we can help too. There are a lot of ways that we would like to help more that we can't (financially, time, etc), so this just seemed like a practical and easy way! AND the boys have had a ton of fun with our new friends!
