Christmas Pics of the 5 of us
Between Dr.s visits today we were outside sweeping the driveway when the fire fighters came in their fire truck to check the fire hydrant a few houses down. Of course the boys were very impressed and stood and watched the whole time. They were so excited when they realized they were going to drive past our house and both started waving away and saying hi. THEN they stopped! "NO WAY" David said. They got to look at the truck, meet the fire fighters and even got some cool fire badges! I didn't get any pics, I thought it might be a little much to ask them to stay while I go get my camera, but I did get this great picture of the boys with their badges...it didn't take much to get them to smile for the camera :)

I love it when firefighters or any other public service people like that for that matter go above and beyond to see a smile on a child's face. Makes me know that God is still God no matter how bad this world looks!
See you at the parade on Sat...looking forward to it!
I know I love it! I have actually seen the kids walk up to a police officer ones and get a less than friendly response, so it reminds me to really enjoy those wonderful moments that God puts together so perfectly for us.
Hey, did you see they put a building in our parking lot!!! I am so sad! At least 20+ years we have been in that same spot, it's sad!
That is soooo cool! Way to go Firemen!
I am so happy that they took the time to visit with the boys. This will be something that David and Wilbourn will remember.
When Adults take the time to be truly kind to small children, often the children will pass on the kindness when they grow up.
You need to let them know that Cousin Jeff is a Fireman as well.
