David did so great at his game on Saturday, he was AMAZING!!! I turned on my camera and took this shot just as he stole the ball:

Click! Great picture of my boy!! This is when my camera battery died! After one shot! Aaahhh! So I grab my camera bag and in record time change the battery, get ready to take a couple (hundred) more shots of my boy REALLY playing soccer and not just running back and forth down the field. I press the power button and....WHAT!!, the other battery is dead too! So here is where I took a few big breathes and remembered that there will many more years of soccer, sports, and scoring....and then I took a couple more breathes. I am majorly disappointed that I didn't get more pictures of it so you'll just have to take my word that David:

Stole the ball, raced all the way from one end of the field to the other (giving Mommy lots of time to take pictures, haha!), passed the ball to another player standing by the goal, who kicked it in and scored a goal!!! We so proud of him! Up until this point I think he just thought that it was about running from one end of the field to the other, not really about kicking the ball or scoring any points. He did great!

Well you did a wonderful job in describing the excitement! I have learned that some memories are meant for you and God (and those surrounding you)... No camera needed.

It is so fun that he did so wonderful. I am sure he was much more enthused that you were there WATCHING than taking pictures any day though. (Although it is always nice to have pictures Ü) You did steal a great one though. Look at the joy on his face! PRICELESS!

I am very proud that David has learned some skills in soccer.

He is learning quickly these days and he is growing so fast. He is turning into a little boy instead of being just a pre-schooler.

It seems he is gaining more confidence these days!

Glad you were able to capture his moment
